Sarek (mirror)

In the mirror universe, Sarek was Spock's father and Arbiter of the Vulcan Mineral Syndicate, one of the most powerful business lords on Vulcan. Spock relates in Spectre that Sarek was assassinated by Orion spies during the Empire's mission to annex Coridan, and that Kirk destroyed Coridan for its perceived role in the assassination. In the Dark Mirror timeline Sarek was a Vulcan ambassador some twelve years after the transporter accident, and was assassinated shortly after Spock's death by another Vulcan eager for Sarek's job.
