Captain Gohod Clif was a Trill male, and the last host of the Clif symbiont. He commanded the Starfleet starship U.S.S. Oraidhe.
He was a friend of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who he first met at a debriefing in 2369. Picard described Clif as "perpetually late." The met again in 2371 when both their starships were assigned to take care of a dangerous situation near the Great Rift. Unfortunately for Captain Clif, he and the rest of the Oraidhe's crew were killed during the mission by the intellivore. (novel: Star Trek: The Next Generation: Intellivore)
